Only after their wedding in the year 1970 Vera Schuitemaker, born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and Wolfgang Guenther, born in Solingen, Germany discovered their mutual love for the cinema, particularly to the American Slapstick silent movie in general and their special love for Stan & Ollie.

With heart and soul the two collected the exhibits in the whole world, and not only Vera greats the visitors when they come in, she is also responsible for the arrangement, the decoration and the cosy atmosphere.

The interest in Stan & Olli is very large very big at schools and evening classes, so that Wolfgang shows regularly films there and holds lectures to the topic. Into the 60's the films from Stan & Olli still ran in the German cinemas. There Wolfgang Guenther, still at the hand of his father, had his first contact to the profession. Later this affection led to the desire to possess these films. By contacts into the USA and to many other friends of Stan and Babe in the whole world they now have an extensive film collection.

Today Vera and Wolfgang Guenther are recognized experts in all things about vintige film comedy and Laurel & Hardy. Both where featured in many print magazines, an radio and on TV.
